Spindrift Escapades - M. DeCollibus

Spindrift Escapades

M. DeCollibus

From this end of the beach

to that.

From rumbled waters

engulfing yesterday, footprints fade,

towards footprints not yet made.

Towards sun where dark once laid.

Towards our own spindrift

escaped.

I walk to you.

Biography

I am a Rhode Islander. My first name means "Of the Sea". Together my name and origin mean I see the world through ocean spray. Even in Central Pennsylvania, where my PhD in School Psychology has taken me, I am more ocean than human. My poems reflect the intrinsic sea I carry.
